Greetings! I’m Brandon Mathess, the founder and formulator behind Bubble & Fizz – Mountain Apothecary. Our journey began in the fall of 2012 when I embarked on a mission to create handcrafted goods that would delight friends and family. What started with soy candles quickly evolved into a passion for crafting skincare products infused with skin-loving ingredients.
Our Roots
The seeds of Bubble & Fizz were planted when I introduced soy candles under the name 3 Rivers Candle Co. The warm reception from customers at craft shows across North Central West Virginia inspired me to expand my offerings. In 2017, I ventured into the world of soap making, rebranding as Three Rivers Handcrafted to encompass our growing range of handcrafted products.
A Decade of Dedication
In 2022, we proudly celebrated a decade of handcrafting goods for our community. Every item we create is meticulously crafted by hand in small batches, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail. To mark this milestone, we underwent one final rebranding, emerging as Bubble & Fizz – Mountain Apothecary. This new identity reflects the professional quality our products have evolved to and captures the essence of our exceptional handcrafted goods.
Our Retail Store
In October 2023, we reached another milestone with the opening of our retail store at the Middletown Commons in White Hall, WV. Now, you can experience the full collection of Bubble & Fizz products in person and witness our craft come to life right before your eyes.
